How to make cwm backup of Infini Hot Note. Working!

Before you read this. make sure you have a boot.img of the infinix Hot Note or read how to make mtk backup of the phone so as to get the boot.img, see thread at . While about to root my phone, i was afraid of bricking it as being a new phone in market, it will be hard to see a backup rom of it, fortunately the rooting was one of the easiest thing i did and it really surprised me. The question on your mind probably is "After rooting, what next?" Cwm i.e ClockworkMod recovery is an advanced andriod backup system. those of us who has had the opportunity of booting into recovery will confirm how limited the default andriod recovery is. So how do we get this backup, its pretty simple. jst follow the steps i used for mine. rooted and installed cwm before 24hrs i bought the phone!. Requirements.(this can also work for most andriod phones like tecno, gionee, infinix etc.) rooted andriod phone (if you don't know how to root your andriod, see this thread ) for infinix hot note visit this thread Download mtk driod tools. i recommend v2.5.3 download pdanet Procedure: 1. Install PdaNet (+Adb driver which is included in the PdaNet installer) 2. Backup the phone 3. Copy the boot.img from your phone's stock rom back up on your phone's SD card to your PC. 4. Enable USB debugging on your phone (settings > developer opions) then connect it to your PC 5. Launch MTK droid tools. it will read your phone and display your phone's details 6. Click root at the bottom of MTK 7. On your phone, grant MTK super user permissions 8. Let MTK complete (the box at the lower left must change from color yellow to green) 9. Once it is green, click on the root.backup.recovery tab 10. Tick 'To choose d boot.img file' 11. Click on recovery and boot 12. Navigate to boot.img which you copied to your PC from your phone's custom ROM backup folder then select it 13. Click Yes till you get a prompt whether to install ClockworkMod on your device or not 14. At this stage, your ClockworkMod image would have been created. You can optionally chose to install it yourself later or let MTK install it for you. Congratulations! You now have ClockworkMod installed. - See more at: https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-74.html#sthash.ldilj9pF.dpuf
